Grief Share
Grief Share is Coming to Lindsay Lane. If you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, you don’t have to walk through it alone. Grief Share is a 13-week support group where you’ll find comfort, community, and tools to help you heal — one step at a time. Meetings will be every Monday starting September 8. Upward
Upward Sports™ is returning to Lindsay Lane Baptist Church (LLBC) this fall, and we are very excited about the new season! Are you ready for another season of Upward Basketball and Cheerleading?
Boys’ basketball leagues are available from K-5 thru 12th grade, Girls’ basketball leagues are available from K-5 thru 8th grade, and Girls' Cheerleading is available from K-5 thru 5th Grade.
The cost for this year’s participation is $80.00, but please remember that children of deployed military personnel may participate free of cost, and scholarships are available for families in need. Also, if you have more than one child participating in basketball and/or cheerleading, you will receive a $5.00 discount for each additional child!

LLUAF Fundraiser
The Lindsay Lane United Appeal Fund is a benevolent fundraising organization that collects funds and distributes those monies directly to LCCI & to our church’s very own benevolence ministry. Our church is allowed to maintain our sales tax exemption status through this effort. Please grab a shirt, sweatshirt, or hoodie for yourself or a friend. Plus 1: How to Pray
Prayer doesn’t have to be complicated — and you don’t have to have it all figured out to start. Whether you’re new to prayer or just looking to deepen your connection with God, this 4-week class will give you practical tools, encouragement, and space to grow. Come join us Wednesday nights as we learn together how to talk with God in a real and personal way. Bring your questions, your curiosity, and a friend!
Men's D-Groups
Men’s D Groups will officially pick back up on Wednesday night, October 15th and run through Wednesday, December 10th. We would love to have you join us for a time of deeper discussion about God’s Word. Our D-Groups are groups of 4-5 men who meet weekly to discuss God’s Word, pray and talk about life together. TRUNK SIGN-UPS

Every bag and piece of candy helps us prepare for our annual community Trunk or Treat event! Drop off bins located in the Main Foyer, Gathering Space and the door beside the choir room.
SENSORY FRIENDLY TREATS & TRINKETS | 4:30 PM - 5:00 PM
Our Special Connections Ministry hosts a Sensory Friendly Experience at Trunk or Treat. Meet at the green tent from 4:30-5:00PM. Register ahead of time by clcking the button below or in the app. You may also register upon arrival at the tent.

Christmas Gathering for Ladies
Please join the Stacy Wolfe Breast Cancer Foundation for the 4th annual Christmas Gathering on November 13th from 6:00-8:30 PM. We will share creative ideas to inspire you to prepare your home and heart for the holidays! A light meal will be served at 6:00 pm. Tickets are $40 and can be purchased by clcking the button below.
Cookie Exchange
M.O.M.S Ministry will be hosting a cookie exchange and cookie decorating event in the Student Center on November 15th from 4pm - 6pm. Attendees will bring in their favorite homemade cookies with recipes. There will be holiday themed cookie decorating and light hors d’oeuvres.
Lindsay Lane 101 - New Members Class

Move Day
Please come and be a part of providing a Thanksgiving meal for many in this apartment community who otherwise would not have a Thanksgiving meal. We are feeding over 100 people, so there are many ways to serve: cooking a turkey or ham, providing side dishes, providing a dessert, setting up, hospitality, and more. Friendsgiving
We want to invite you to Friendsgiving on November 23rd.
Friendsgiving is a great opportunity to invite a neighbor, family member, or friend for a time of worship at Lindsay Lane. This year's Friendsgiving will feature FRIENDS, FOOD TRUCKS, and FUN, so be sure to stay after and enjoy lunch.

Better Together Marriage Conference
Better Together Marriage Conference will be February 13-14, 2026 in Franklin, TN. Reservations begin on November 2. Total cost is $175. $100 deposit to hold spot. Final payment of $75 is due January 4th. Registration ends: December 7th

Baby Dedication Sunday
Baby Dedication Sunday will take place on October 19th. A REQUIRED class will be held on Wednesday, October 15th from 5:30-6:30pm in the Choir Room. Register in the app or by clicking the button below. The deadline to register is October 5th.
Concession Stand Takeover
We will be serving LLCA on September 15th by taking over their concession stand. LLCA will provide all the food, drinks, etc. We provide the people to work it. That day there are 2 football games and 2-3 volleyball games. Two time slots are available: 4:30-6:30pm and 6:30-8:30pm. We will need 13 people for football and 8 for volleyball… about 20ish people.
LLBC Women's Conference - Choosing Paths of Peace
Our annual LLBC Women’s Conference will be held this year on Sunday, September 14 from 6:00-8:00PM in the Sanctuary. Guest speaker and author LeAnn Newsom will be with us as she takes us through the lives of three women in Scripture who chose to walk the path of peace. The Women’s Resource Center will also be with us and is our ministry spotlight for the evening. Tickets go on sale in the Gathering Space starting August 17th and are only $5! Conference T-shirts will be free at the event while supplies last. Come join us for dessert, coffee and a great night of worship as we reflect on the importance of “Choosing Paths of Peace!”
Silly Socks & Stuffies
Kids Ministry presents Silly Socks and Stuffies on Sunday, September 14th. Children are encouraged to wear silly socks and bring a stuffy to church.
Men's Ministry Gathering
We invite men of all ages to join us on Sunday, September 7th for a Men’s Gathering. We will meet in the Family Life Center (Gym) from 5:00-7:00PM to enjoy a meal and hear an encouraging Word. The cost is $5 and you can purchase tickets in the Gathering Space. Tickets go on sale August 17th.

Student Ministry Kickoff
Student Ministry (6th-12th grade) will be playing laser tag in the gym for Wednesday night service. They will also have games and other activities set up outside for the students to play.
Promotion Sunday
All children (2 years old – 12th grade) will promote on August 3rd. Ministry leaders will communicate about new classes.
Family Night at Point Mallard

Back to School Drive Limestone County Churches Involved (LCCI) is gearing up for its 2025 School Supply Drive to bless families in need across Athens and Limestone County. Let’s come together to make sure every child starts the school year ready to learn! Drop-off items by Sunday, July 20, in the Gathering Space.

Hope for Athens
Hope for Athens is a community-wide event hosted by the Athens Limestone Ministerial Alliance (ALMA) to meet the community's needs. ALMA will need Greeters, Counselors, Kids Connection Table workers, shoe fitting, and some general task folks. We encourage you to experience serving in various areas at Hope for Athens on Saturday, July 19, from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the Athens Middle School Gym. WAM will host a Carnival Night full of fun and games on June 11th at 6:30pm. Preschoolers will be downstairs in the Children’s Building. Elementary kids will be in the gym.
Slip & Slide Kickball
Upcoming 6th-12th graders are invited to join us June 11th on the back field from 6:30pm-7:30pm for Slip-and-Slide Kickball. Students are encouraged to bring a towel.
Best Week Ever Family Night
Friday, June 6th at 5:30pm is Family Night. The illusionist David Laflin will be in the house!!! Come see an amazing show where The Gospel will be presented. This event is for all ages and is in partnership with EAST Campus following a great week at Best Week Ever. Doors open at 5:00pm.

Lindsay Lane will host the Best Week Ever 2025 June 2nd through 5th from 8:30 AM - 12:00 PM. Discover the BIGNESS of God at MAGNIFIED! Come back on Friday, June 6th at 5:30 PM for family night with Laflin Ministries that will have a night of "illusions" for us to enjoy together. Apologetics Discussion Group
This apologetics class equips believers to confidently defend their faith by exploring core doctrines of Christianity. In our next session, we’ll focus on Sola Scriptura—the belief that Scripture alone is the ultimate authority in matters of faith and practice. These small groups will be an extra option for those interested in studying the book of Mark together as we learn how to dig deeply into the Word.
