“The Lanies” is a special awards-night celebration designed to honor and thank the incredible volunteers who faithfully serve across every ministry of our church. Taking place on August 29 from 6:00–8:00pm in the Sanctuary (doors open at 5:45pm), this banquet-style event blends the elegance of a formal gathering with the energy of a fun, creative awards show. Guests will arrive in “red carpet” style, complete with paparazzi and a photo booth experience, before being seated for dinner. Throughout the evening, ministries such as Connect Groups, Kids, Media, Worship, and more will present lighthearted and meaningful awards, with nominees announced and winners selected by staff vote. The event will conclude with a special award recognizing a volunteer who truly reflects serving “for the glory of God and the good of man,” bringing the evening to a meaningful and unified close.
