July | Let's Reach Our Neighbors This July!
This July, we’re encouraging every family to step outside and connect with their neighbors in simple ways.
Ideas to Connect:
• Invite a neighbor to the Trash Panda Game on Wednesday, July 1. See the event page for details. Ticket sale May 3 – until they are gone.
• Prayer walk your neighborhood
• Host a cookout or dinner at your home to build relationships with your neighbors

Move – Reaching the Community | Wednesdays at 6:30 pm | Meet at LLBC
Join us as we reach out and share the love of Christ with our community in various ways. See the Bulletin and events on the app for details throughout the year.
First Hispanic Baptist Church | 1105 N Madison St, Athens, AL | Wednesday Nights at 6 PM
FHBC needs several volunteers to help with their ministry to local children and teens. They meet from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM on Sunday afternoons. With enough people, we could rotate the weeks leading. Volunteering on Wednesday Nights from 6 PM - 8:00 PM for Team Kids by picking up the kids in our church vans, teaching a lesson, or leading activities. Love Packages | Every 2nd and 4th Wednesdays at 9 AM
Share the good news of Jesus by packing Bibles and Christian literature that will be shipped all over the world. A group will meet every 2nd & 4th Wednesdays at Love Packages at 9 a.m. Address: 60B S. Mountain Dr., Decatur, AL - ends around 12 p.m. Leader: Vickie Camden, vickiecamden@gmail.com
Athens Community Table
Athens Community Table is an emergency bridge providing food and general assistance to Limestone County residents. Please consider volunteering 2-2 ½ hours of your time one day monthly, bi-weekly, or weekly. LCCI needs volunteers who could help from 8:45 to 11:30 on selected days of your choice. Alabama Baptist Children's Home
Ongoing Opportunities:
- Foster Care babysitting. This provides a much-needed break for the house and fosters parents on the Decatur campus.
- Provide a meal. (feed 12 people)

The Family Resource Center is dedicated to helping families find success by providing guidance, Information, referrals, & mentoring. They are passionate about improving the quality of family life for all residents in our community. They do this by offering services that target specific needs within the family. The Women’s Resource Center is a place of compassion and hope where all life is cherished, the Gospel of Jesus Christ is shared, and Christ-centered support is offered to men and women facing unplanned pregnancies.

Christmas House | December
Our annual Christmas House outreach is connecting with families in our community who need a helping hand to provide gifts for their children this Christmas. We have our Connect Groups, providing gifts for families and building relationships with the families we help. We desire that these families hear the good news of Jesus Christ and see what faith in action looks like. We hope to see these relationships go beyond just the Christmas season. We look forward to seeing what the Lord does through this outreach yearly. Please be in prayer for Christmas House.
