No matching funds will be contributed by LLBC. Leave: As outlined in LLBCs Personnel Manual Employment is on an at will basis as defined in LLBCs Personnel Manual and shall be considered to be temporary for an evaluation period of 90 days commencing on effective date of this agreement. Whether or not to offer continued employment following the evaluation period shall be at the sole discretion of the church as represented by the Senior Pastor, his designee, and/or the Personnel / Finance Ministry Team. Salary increases will be considered at the discretion of the Personnel / Finance Ministry Team not less than once annually. Experience, merit, and seniority will be considered in awarding increases. However, this agreement is not to be interpreted as a promise or guarantee of such increases. You agree that unity within the church staff is essential to the promotion of a pleasant work environment. It is also critical to maintaining harmony within the church body. Thus, unity is a mandatory condition of employment. Any action(s) by an employee construed by a supervisor, senior staff member, or the senior pastor to be disruptive of such unity will not be tolerated. Such conduct includes, but is not limited to poor attitude, jealousy, complaining, and/or gossip. You agree that teamwork is an attitude that is highly advocated among all staff. We operate on the principle that we are a family of believers, brothers and sisters in Jesus Christ. As in families, conflicts may/will occur from time to time. Such are expected to be resolved as quickly as possible in accordance with biblical principles. This practice is also to be applied toward your interaction with the entire church body. You Agree that each member of the ministerial staff has been called by God and commissioned by the church to lead utilizing their expertise, experience, talents, and gifts under the direction of the Holy Spirit. The position you are applying for serves as a support role to your supervisor and to the ministerial staff. Suggestions and ideas are welcomed, encouraged, and may even be solicited. It is clearly understood that the ministerial staff is ultimately responsible to the church for decisions regarding the establishment and implementation of policies, procedures, practices, and methods. As an employee, you agree to routinely perform your assigned duties enthusiastically in support of your supervisor and ultimately the ministerial staff. You agree that personnel policies, such as those governing annual, sick, and other types of leave, are established and set forth in the Personnel Manual. All employees are required to operate within the parameters set forth in the manual. It may be and/or is necessary that the personnel manual be amended from time to time, with the most recent revision becoming effective when the change is made. Thus, the latest revision(s) to the Personnel Manual supercede previous policy. You agree that as a church employee, you may become aware of matters and issues of a personal nature relating to persons associated with the church and that the practice of complete confidentiality is absolutely mandatory. You agree to practice complete confidentiality regarding such matters and issues. You agree that confidentiality also applies to information contained in church records, including, but not limited to attendance, contributions, church finances, and personnel.
